Joan Sedsman specialises in estate and asset protection
planning, trusts (including testamentary trusts), and the preparation of
wills and ancillary documents.
She also conducts litigation in contested estates and
will-related matters.
Joan was formerly Executive Officer of the Law Society
and was closely involved with the administration of the Law Society and the
Legal Assistance Scheme. Prior to founding Adelta Legal, Joan was a Senior
Associate with Ward & Partners until December 2001.
Joan is currently a member of the Disciplinary Tribunal
of Tennis SA, a committee member of the John Bray Chapter of the University
of Adelaide Alumni Association, a member of the Law Society’s Probate
Committee and Co-ordinator of the wills and estates unit of the Law
Society's Graduate Diploma in Legal Education.
