BA. Criminology & Law (Hons)
After completing her degree in Criminology and Law at the University of Keele Kate moved from England to South Australia in 2009.
Following this Kate worked as an administration assistant and paralegal for over 8 years in the areas of wills, estates, probate and commercial leasing until her admission as a solicitor in 2017. She has been an integral part of the Adelta Legal team since 2016.
Characteristically a true Yorkshire lass, Kate has a very pragmatic, approachable and welcoming manner and obtains great satisfaction from helping clients in often difficult times.
Kate’s areas of practice include:
- wills and succession planning
- probate and estate administration
- inheritance claims
- powers of attorney and advance care directives
- property law
- commercial law
- reverse mortgages.
Kate serves on the STEP Emerging Lawyers Sub-Committee and also volunteers at the Council of the Ageing (COTA) on a weekly basis providing legal advice to its members.
