Merger Announcement

The partners of Lempriere Abbott McLeod and the directors of Adelta Legal are delighted to announce a merger of their practices from 1 January 2021. The merged firm will continue to operate under the name of Adelta Legal. Lempriere Abbott McLeod is one of Adelaide’s oldest firms with a practice profile that harmonises effortlessly with that of Adelta Legal. Our philosophies are identical in that we strive to provide cost effective legal services in a timely fashion with the client’s best interests as the absolute heart of what we all do.

Tom Hawkes, Bob Holland and Catherine Hokin will continue to look after all of their clients while Greg McLeod has retired from legal practice. After 40 years of practicing almost exclusively in the areas of wills and estates, Greg’s clients will be well looked after by Adelta Legal which is one of Adelaide’s foremost firms in providing services in this area of practice.

Tom will continue to practice in family law and contentious estates, Bob will continue to provide for his clients in commercial and civil litigation and Catherine will continue to practice in the areas of family law, victims of crime and general litigation.

We have every confidence that the clients of Lempriere Abbott McLeod will continue to be looked after by Adelta Legal at the offices at Level 3, 104 Frome Street, Adelaide which also has branch offices at Tea Tree Gully and Morphett Vale for the convenience of clients.
